Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Commercial Officer will be primarily responsible for the efficient and progressive management of the Commercial Operations Department through the implementation of a working environment based on teamwork, mutual respect and trust.

As a member of the senior management team, the Chief Commercial Officer is expected to participate in strategic planning, together with the identification and monitoring of all key result areas to ensure growth, profitability, industry compliance and systems improvement.

Key accountabilities include:

  • All revenue streams
  • Financial management of the Training & Entertainment facility
  • Directly manage relationships with corporate partners
  • Ensure positive relationships are maintained with key stakeholders
  • Oversee all marketing, events and promotional activities
  • Development and implementation of strategies to grow membership, merchandise sales and fundraising
  • Leadership, performance management and development of the Commercial Operations team

A tertiary qualification in finance, commerce or accounting is highly desirable. It would be significantly advantageous to hold a qualification in business management or business administration.

Essential core competencies will centre on a proven background in strategic business planning and new business development together with a detailed knowledge of financial management. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a competent public speaker and presenter.
