THE BYE rounds are finally done and it is back to normality. Hopefully you stuck to the plan and upgraded around your premiums as opposed to straight swapping them, which means your team should be far stronger after using nine trades. In similar fashion to last week, the best was saved until last as the Dogs and Pies put on a Fantasy clinic to give our scores some respectability.

Jack Macrae announced he was back last week but took it to the next level this week, just in case there were any coaches doubting the fact. This season’s most expensive player to hit the park was available for over 200K less than his original asking price this week but went ballistic against the Pies with 42 possessions, eight marks and a whopping 13 tackles for a round-high 180. He was back in the middle again which has been helped by Tom Liberatore’s absence and he is a must-have at his current price.

Honourable mention: Brodie Grundy bounced back from a quiet game by his standards a fortnight ago to remind everyone why he is waiting for his official snouting. For the second time this year he made light work of poor old Tim English, accumulating 50 hitouts to go with 25 touches and eight marks for 168. Over 1500 coaches traded him out for his bye round … yes, have a think about that.

Rage Trades
James Sicily: Goodness me. After looking like the perfect upgrade target in the backline coming off his bye, Sicily has fast become the most mentioned player in Fantasy circles the past two weeks and unfortunately, it's not for the right reasons. After a disappointing performance playing forward last week, coaches were hanging off every word Alastair Clarkson said this week in hope it didn’t happen again and when Jarryd Roughead was named, there was a collective sigh of relief among owners. That was short-lived as he started forward once again and pumped out 44. It’s a huge concern.
Honourable mention: Lachie Neale. Came into his match-up against the Saints with great history on his side but unfortunately, that’s where it ended. He had a quiet game in a week of need for his coaches despite gathering 25 possessions, as he only managed to convert them to a disappointing 79 points.
THE RUN HOME Who will make finals?
Piglet
Nick Hind bounced back from a quiet debut to contribute a handy 76 for his owners as well as start some decent cash generation. He managed to snag three goals and collect 13 possessions while going at an impressive 92 per cent efficiency, which is always good for job security.

@RoyDT is it time to upgrade the Worpedo? if so, which premium mid takes your fancy?

I think he is a low priority in most teams but if you are missing one of the big guns … yes, do it.

@RoyDT Roy boy. Is Hanners a viable option once lockout lifts. Thinking Baker to him. Gets a rookie off my ground.

In the right situation, for sure and I think it’s a good trade in your position.
