CARLTON youngster Angus Schumacher will make his debut against West Coast at Marvel Stadium on Sunday.
As revealed by AFL.com.au earlier in the day, Schumacher was pulled from the Northern Blues' VFL curtain raiser against Collingwood.
The rebounding defender replaces veteran Dale Thomas who is out due to illness.
Schumacher, 20, was taken at pick 70 in the 2017 NAB AFL Draft.
The Blues confirmed on Friday they will also be without key back Liam Jones following the passing of his mother.
