PORT Adelaide defender Riley Bonner is open to moving to the wing to accommodate the inclusion of Hawthorn recruit Ryan Burton and the return of the experienced Hamish Hartlett from a knee injury.
Bonner, 21, played 19 games for the Power last season across half-back, averaging 17.2 disposals per game and impressing with his attacking mindset.
However, the arrival of Burton, and Hartlett's impending availability from a torn ACL that forced him to miss most of last season, will result in a squeeze for spots in the Power backline.
"I'm pretty happy to play wherever Ken and the coaching staff want me to play," Bonner said.

"With Ryan coming into the team, he's another half-back, so just push my case to play either half-back or wing, wherever that may be, I'm happy to go anywhere.
"If that (Burton and Hartlett slotting into the backline) means I have to go to the wing, I'm happy to.
"I've played a lot of my junior footy either on the wing or half-back, so wherever the team needs me to play, I'm happy to play there."
Left-footer Bonner could be a straight swap on the wing for fellow lefty Jared Polec, who has joined North Melbourne.

The Power were put through a gruelling training session at Alberton Oval on Friday morning in their second day back after the festive break.
Category B rookie Kai Pudney showcased his elite running capacity in winning a time trial that consisted of three, 1km efforts.
The 19-year-old joined the Power's rookie list at the end of last season after being part of their Next Generation Academy.
He previously won the Yo-Yo test (level 22.1) and the agility test (7.9 seconds) at the SA Draft Combine in October last year.
Pudney won the time trial ahead of midfielder Karl Amon.
