FREMANTLE has confirmed defender Nathan Wilson needed two stitches above his eye after being involved in an incident at a family party just hours after the Dockers' victory over Port Adelaide at Optus Stadium.
Police attended the party, reportedly a 21st birthday, where a fight broke out on Saturday night in Mandurah, but Wilson is not under investigation.
"We are aware of an incident involving Nathan Wilson at a family party on Saturday night in Mandurah, which the player advised the club of shortly after it occurred," Fremantle's statement read.

"Wilson had to have two stitches to a cut above his eye.
"Police attended an address in Mandurah where the party was being held and have subsequently advised that Wilson is not under investigation with regard to the matter."
Wilson is in his second season with the Dockers after being traded back to WA from Greater Western Sydney at the end of 2017.
The 26-year-old has played 33 games for Fremantle, after 77 appearances in six seasons for the Giants.
