Ryan Bastinac has put his hand up to be hamstrung clubmate Mitch Robinson's senior replacement with 39 disposals and two goals in a best-on-ground performance in the NEAFL.
The undefeated Lions marched into the Grand Final with a 50-point win over Sydney, with Corey Lyons (29 possessions), Jacob Allison (28), Rhys Mathieson (27) and Nick Robertson (21) also prominent.
Defender Josh Walker took 12 marks and had 28 touches in a commanding display.
Among the other familiar names to fire were experienced duo Lewis Taylor (25, two goals) and Ryan Lester (25) as Brisbane prepares to face reigning premier Southport.

Rookie-listed Tom Jok was the hero when he kicked the go-ahead goal to seal the Bombers' dramatic three-point victory over Werribee in their seesawing VFL clash.
Jok (eight tackles) looked to be putting the ball in teammate Heath Hocking's path but his kick instead bounced through the goals for maximum points.

David Myers, who has retired from the AFL, led Essendon with 21 possessions in the driving rain, with Dylan Clarke, Mark Baguley, Ben McNiece and Trent Mynott all having 17 touches.
Michael Hartley spent extended time in the ruck again and amassed a season-high 25 hitouts, to go with his 13 disposals, as the Bombers booked a preliminary final date with Williamstown.

Port Adelaide booked its place in the SANFL Grand Final with a four-point victory against minor premier Glenelg.
Defenders Trent McKenzie and Jarrod Lienert controlled play with 28 and 25 disposals respectively.
Midfielders Joe Atley and Willem Drew worked hard with 22 touches each, ruckman Peter Ladhams was strong with 26 hitouts, 20 disposals and seven clearances, while Aidyn Johnson kicked three goals.
Captain Cam Sutcliffe did an outstanding tagging job on former West Coast midfielder Luke Partington, along with kicking a crucial goal from the boundary in the third quarter.

Impressive first-year Swan Justin McInerney racked up 23 disposals and 10 rebound 50s in a losing cause as his side's NEAFL hopes ended in a 50-point defeat to Brisbane.
No Sydney player won more than James Rose's 25 possessions, while Sam Wicks (19), James Bell (16) and in-demand ruckman Darcy Cameron (15) were good contributors.
A bright spot on the day was the performances of Academy members Kyle Martin (two goals) and Errol Gulden (16), who is tipped to be a potential first-round selection next year.
However, young big men Hayden McLean and Joel Amartey left the ground for good because of respective concussions in the third quarter.

The season is over for West Coast's reserves team after it went down to Claremont in a WAFL minor semi-final by six points.
Hamish Brayshaw was the leading possession-winner for the Eagles in the 10.6 (66) to 8.12 (60) loss, with 22 disposals to go with 12 tackles.
Francis Watson (21 disposals) and Brendon Ah Chee (19 disposals) were busy, defender Liam Duggan had 14 touches while small forwards Jack Petruccelle (12 touches, one goal) and Jarrod Cameron (five touches, zero goals) were quiet.
Premiership-winning defender Tom Cole was held out of the game and could be recalled for Friday night's semi-final with Geelong at the MCG.

On a tough day for Footscray, Lukas Webb won 32 disposals and laid seven tackles.
It wasn't enough, though, as the wasteful Dogs fell to Port Melbourne by 15 points in the semi-final to end their season.
Big man Jackson Trengove had 17 disposals and helped out in the ruck.
Senior emergency Tory Dickson didn't feature in the VFL.
On return from a hamstring issue, Lin Jong impressed with 23 disposals and an important goal.
