AN "EMBARRASSED" Alex Fasolo is yet to learn of his sanction from Carlton officials after being released from hospital with a fractured forearm on Monday.
The Blues confirmed the former Magpie had suffered the setback at a house party in Richmond on Saturday night while intoxicated.
Going under the knife on Sunday night, the 26-year-old is set to be sidelined for up to eight weeks, putting his chances for a berth in the season opener against Richmond on March 21 in doubt.

While head of football Brad Lloyd refused to deny Fasolo had been involved in a jovial scuffle with friends, he stated the break was sustained while bracing himself after tripping.
"He's remorseful and embarrassed by the situation," Lloyd said on Monday.
"It's disappointing for Alex at the football club, he's been spoken to about the standards.
"We want to keep providing an elite environment and that didn't head into where we're heading and we've had that discussion.
"We're a growing, developing list and it's an experience for all the players to learn from so we want to make sure that opportunity's not missed."

Star forward Charlie Curnow was also present at the same party, and while he was not involved in the incident, he assisted with Fasolo being rushed to the Alfred Hospital.
Fasolo will face club officials and teammates later this week to explain his actions.
"I’m incredibly embarrassed by what has happened. I know the next few months ahead are all about doing everything I can to regain the respect of my teammates, coaches, members and supporters, and all those involved with the club," Fasolo said in a statement.
"I certainly regret the behaviour that led to this injury, particularly since the club has been nothing but supportive of me since I came across last year. I’m now fully focused on my recovery and hope to be out on the track as soon as possible."
It comes just 24 hours after the Blues confirmed ruckman Matthew Kreuzer had been sent for knee surgery as the club's pre-season injury crisis deepened.
Kreuzer was a notable absentee during an open session on Monday, with coach Brendon Bolton and assistant David Teague barking instructions at players in an attempt to lift intensity.
Forward Mitch McGovern, who suffered a non-displaced back fracture prior to Christmas, completed his biggest session of the New Year.

Returning to full running, McGovern only sat out match simulation.
Defender Liam Jones, sporting a brace for his fractured left hand, was on the track and joined Darcy Lang, Harrison Macreadie and David Cuningham in training away from the main group.
The biggest cheers from fans were reserved for Charlie Curnow who beat home brother Ed in one of several 600m runs around the boundary line.

No.1 draft pick Sam Walsh, second-year midfielder Lochie O'Brien and Blues hopeful Matthew Cottrell – vying for one of two vacant list spots – also impressed.
Fasolo is the fifth Blue to be sent for surgery this summer after Kreuzer, Jones, co-captain Sam Docherty (ACL) and Jarrod Pickett (ruptured patella tendon).
