Early prognosis
Keath is expected to return for Sunday's important encounter with West Coast in Perth. The key defender has missed the past two games with ankle soreness. Betts and Hartigan are both expected to be available to face the Eagles after sustaining injuries in last weekend's 22-point win against St Kilda. Betts copped a knee to the ribs in the second quarter, while Hartigan rolled his ankle in a marking contest. He'll be managed early in the week before being tested at the Crows' main training session on Thursday. Ellis-Yolmen is at least another week away from returning from a shin injury that has kept the big-bodied midfielder sidelined since round 13. - Lee Gaskin

Early prognosis
Cox's season-ending eye injury has added to the Pies' personnel woes but Wells could return at VFL level. De Goey and Quaynor will remain on the sidelines at least for the short term, while Aish and Moore also hope to be back before the end of the minor rounds. Sier seems unlikely again this week while Murphy again didn't take the field in the VFL after being cleared to play. Kelly is also being managed conservatively, but Reid faces an uphill battle to play again this season after another setback. Stephenson will be available at finals time but the campaign is over for Langdon and veterans Dunn and Beams. - Ben Collins

The Bombers' injury list has grown markedly this week, losing Guelfi for the season to a training accident which required knee surgery, and important backman Saad to a minor hamstring strain. Birchall's season may be over because of a hamstring setback on Friday night. However, the Hawks say they are pleased with him being able to play six games between VFL and AFL level, especially with his troublesome knee holding up well. Jack Scrimshaw (knee) resumed in the VFL on restricted minutes and will increase his game time this weekend. Tim O'Brien (calf), Harry Morrison (back) and Dylan Moore (groin) also returned from respective injuries as well. First-year midfielder Will Golds sprained an ankle at training last week. - Marc McGowan

Early prognosis
The Roos have booked Davies-Uniacke in for a right shoulder reconstruction to fix an issue he suffered earlier in the season when fending off an opponent, bringing an end to his second AFL campaign. Watson's is a fresh injury and he will sit out at least this weekend to try to recover from a medial cruciate ligament setback in his left knee, the same knee he had reconstructed in mid-2017. Wright's farewell game ended prematurely when he sustained a hamstring injury, but he wasn't going to play again this year, anyway. Atley will try again to prove his fitness after hurting himself in round 19. - Marc McGowan

One of Richmond's shortest injury lists for the season at the right time of the year. Moore is a chance to make his return in the VFL from a fractured ankle this weekend. Stack is less likely to play against Carlton, with the club wanting to be cautious with a first-year player who has a soft-tissue injury. Cotchin is still a week or two away. - Sarah Black

However, considering Hannebery hasn't played at any level since June and has dealt with well-publicised soft-tissue issues, he might need to return via the VFL. - Dinny Navaratnam
