The Redland Football Club, part of the State league NEAFL competition and based in Queensland, seek a Development Coach for our program to help progress the output of our most recent additions.
We have a proud tradition of nurturing young talent through our state league pathway, many of whom have found themselves on AFL lists.

The Development Coach will be help oversee the clubs first to third year player development program, while also working with the aligned Brisbane Lions Academy program to facilitate the transition of available players into our squad.
Players recently out of the AFL or State league systems looking to move into a playing coach capacity are encouraged to apply for this role. The ability to mentor the players on and off the field will help in the programs success.
A playing wage would be negotiated with the Football manager separate to the Coaching role.
The successful applicant will bring enthusiasm and structure to the program, along with measured accountability to track the progress of our participants.
Desirable (but not essential):
Level 1 or 2 AFL coaching qualification
Experience in professional environments
The right candidate can be helped and supported to gain or progress a coaching accreditation.
