What it means for Geelong: Breaking Sydney's strong record at GMHBA Stadium. Losing to the Swans on the past three occasions at home, the Cats will be out to regain supremacy on their home turf. It also offers the chance to bank another win before a big clash with Richmond.
What it means for Sydney: Standing up to play for their coach. After a week of innuendo about John Longmire's future in the wake of a new job opening at North Melbourne, the Swans can prove they want him for the long term.
How Geelong wins: Stopping Sydney's small forwards. In Sydney's last three wins in Geelong, Lance Franklin has kicked just a combined two goals. In round six last year it was Will Hayward (three goals) and Ben Ronke (two) who did the damage.
How Sydney wins: Run the ball at Geelong's defenders. Get Lance Franklin high up the ground and use his exquisite kicking inside 50. If the main man is anchored to the goalsquare, the Cats defenders will roam all day.
The stat: The Cats are averaging 13 marks inside 50 per game to be ranked fourth in the competition, compared to Sydney's 10.7 a match that has them 11th.
The match-up: Mark Blicavs v Sam Reid
Reid enters off a bag of six and will play as the deepest forward. With Harry Taylor often taking the oppostion's highest forward, expect Geelong teammate Mark Blicavs (No.4 key defender in the Official AFL Player Ratings) to go to Reid.

After all the talk over pre-season that he felt the Swans moved him out while contracted, Rohan has the chance to show them first-hand what they're missing. Has kicked 12 goals from four outings at GMHBA Stadium this season.
