PORT Adelaide superstar Robbie Gray has declared he is a certain starter for the Power's first game of the JLT Community Series against Adelaide at Port Pirie on Saturday.
The four-time Virgin Australia AFL All Australian missed the Power's intraclub game on February 15 and the AFLX tournament last Friday night with knee soreness.
He is back to full training, but expects his game time to be managed in the hot conditions, with temperatures expected to hit 39 degrees.
"I'll get out there this week, the knee's come along pretty well now, so really looking forward to getting out there and getting some match practice before the season starts," Gray told Channel Nine.
"Not 100 per cent sure on that (how much game time I will play), maybe 60-70 per cent or something like that.
"I think it's going to be pretty warm up there, so I'm sure there will be plenty of rotations and not sure if we'll have a few extra on the bench, but probably around 60-70 per cent and it will be good to get some fitness in."
Gray – who has kicked 83 goals in the past two years - said his role could change slightly this season.
"It will be a little bit of a mix, probably a little bit higher up the ground than the previous couple of years," he said.
"We've brought some guys in that can play a variety of positions and we'll be looking to rotate a fair bit and mix guys through different positions."
