AS BRISBANE'S fairytale season continues, coach Chris Fagan has again had to re-evaluate just how far his team can go.
It wasn't that long ago Fagan refused to say the 'F' word (finals) - now he's contemplating a top-two finish.
The Lions' incredible one-point come-from-behind victory over Geelong has given them top spot on the ladder with one round to go.

Regardless of the final round result against Richmond at the MCG, Brisbane will finish in the top four, but Fagan has his sights set on so much more.
"It's a good position to be in, to know we've got a double chance," he said.

"There's still a bit of footy to be played out.
"It'd be good to have a double chance and home final first week (which the top two teams get).
"We've got a big job next week at the MCG."

Brisbane showed plenty of character to overcome Geelong, trailing by 17 points during the final term before kicking the final three goals of the game to steal victory.
Fagan said the Cats-Tigers finish to the season was the ideal prelude to the finals, and playing in front of 35,608 raucous home fans provided a September-like atmosphere.
"We found another way to win. We just toughed it out," Fagan said.
"They've felt it now. There's nothing like doing it (playing top teams) to learn.
"It's a great experience for our players and, even better, we were able to come out with a victory, which will give them a lot of confidence.
"That's a good taste of what's to come."

Fagan praised match-winning hero Lincoln McCarthy, whose spectacular mark-and-goal with 90 seconds remaining gave the Lions the lead against his former club.

"I suppose the lesson in that is, Linc didn’t have a great game today, but he had a great moment.
"And that is what finals are about, so it is a good lesson for everyone, you can be down, but you can find a way to influence and he was able to.
"And his composure to kick the ball through the middle was terrific."
