Adams could return for the Grand Final rematch against West Coast at the MCG if his finger has healed, but Hoskin-Elliott's recovery is taking longer than expected. Murphy appears set to return via the VFL and Reid and Broomhead could join him, while Wells is just a week away. A longer-term view will be taken with Scharenberg as he makes his way back from a third knee reconstruction, but the season is over for veteran Dunn after a second anterior cruciate ligament rupture in nine months. - Ben Collins

 Jayden Laverde Ankle 1-2 weeks
 Jake Long Shoulder Test

Early prognosis

The Bombers might well have brought Laverde back into the team for his first run at senior level if not for the minor ankle injury he sustained at VFL level on the weekend. Hooker is pushing for selection this week but if he isn't passed fit to face the Dees is a good chance to be ready for the Lions in round four. Daniher still appears several weeks away from playing at AFL level. - Callum Twomey

Cox and Blakely were both running strongly around the boundary and in agility exercises at training last week and are nearing returns from hamstring woes.  Jack Henry Hamstring 1-2 weeks
 Scott Selwood Hamstring 2-3 weeks
 Zach Tuohy Knee 1-3 weeks
 Updated: Tuesday, April 2

Early prognosis

The Cats believe Henry's hamstring strain is only "minor," but he'll miss at least Thursday's trip to Adelaide. Tuohy is under consideration for a VFL return next week, however the Cats may opt to build his fitness on the training track and throw him straight into the AFL side in 2-3 weeks. Guthrie failed to prove his fitness last week and after two weeks out of the side may be forced to come back via the VFL. Bews' groin concern have worsened after revealing he is battling osteitis pubis on the weekend. After rest, he will attempt to build his loads in the next week. - Mitch Cleary

Spargo will miss at least one week after breaking his jaw in the VFL on Saturday. - Ben Guthrie

 Kurt Mutimer  Achilles Test
 Nic Naitanui Knee Indefinite
 Willie Rioli Foot 5-6 weeks

Early prognosis

With four Eagles returning in the WAFL last week, the injury list has shortened, and Jamie Cripps (toe) and Will Schofield (quad) will be in the mix to face Collingwood at the MCG after making successful comebacks against East Fremantle. Duggan played the second half of the Giants win with heavy knee strapping and didn't join his teammates at training on Monday, but should be back for the round four Western Derby. Rioli is set to miss a third of the season with a problematic foot complaint, while Naitanui is closing in on a comeback.
