THE BIG boys certainly came out to play this week with some ridiculously high scores, even before the Giants made a complete mockery of the Blues. There will be plenty to think about this week with a number of popular players carrying injuries and with the byes fast approaching, they will need to be considered when making your moves.
Fantasy Pig
Lachie Whitfield came into the game against the Blues with a breakeven of 177 on the back of an injury-affected game and two weeks off. Well … it’s fair to say he didn’t miss a beat, not only reaching his BE, but doing it with ease, pumping out a huge 190 from 40 possessions, three goals and wait for it … 18 marks! He made the opposition look like witches’ hats and is a ‘must have’ as soon as possible. Teammate Tim Taranto didn’t struggle either, continuing his great form with 155 from 38 touches, 12 marks and a goal. He has been an outstanding unique pick for his coaches who took the punt on a breakout at the start of the season.
Honourable mention: Jack Ziebell became Fantasy relevant about four weeks ago when he had a significant role change to the midfield. In that time he has only dropped under 100 on one occasion, topped off by completely dominating the Swans for 155 from 35 possessions, 10 marks and eight tackles. It was full beast mode. Meanwhile, aspiring Pig Brodie Grundy did his chances of being awarded an official snout no harm with yet another dominant performance, accumulating 49 hitouts to go with his 24 possessions for a score of 152. Oink.

Rage Trades
Patrick Dangerfield’s name keeps popping up for all the wrong reasons. Again, the biggest news to come out of Danger's game on the weekend was his injuries. He was on crutches to end the game and this was on the back of knee and ankle complaints the week prior. It appears the Cats are set to give him some time to reset and I think a large number of frustrated Fantasy owners will likely also give him an extended break. Thankfully, he played well for a score of 88 before calling it a day.
Honourable mention: Zac Williams was just heating up against the rabble when he was cruelly struck down by a hamstring injury in the second quarter, devastating his owners when the sky was the limit in a game that could only be described as a scoring frenzy. He has been an outstanding selection, averaging 84 prior to his injury and will now serve as a nice stepping stone to teammate Lachie Whitfield for many.
Piglet
Darcy Fort had a great debut for the Cats, surprising many by hitting the scoreboard with three goals. He managed 17 hitouts and collected nine possessions for a solid score of 77.

Dustin Martin a viable option? Or is his role to inconsistent?
— Luke Hall (@Lukey_Hall) May 19, 2019
It will still be a rollercoaster but he is a star with a huge ceiling. The fact he can sit in the forward line lowers the risk.
Should I still keep Cripps ?

Yep, it’s a blip on the radar. A frustrating one, yes, but he will make up for it.
With his injury, can we cull Williams for Whitfield?
— Aidan Theaker ★ (@AidanTheaker) May 19, 2019
It should be one of the most popular trades of the week.
Can we trust josh Dunkley to perform?

No.
Is Fiorini a legitimate option?
— Daniele (@ozfootytalk) May 19, 2019
Yes, he is an outstanding option and still unique.
