WEST Coast premiership forward Mark LeCras has come to the rescue of two people moments before a third died in a horrifying car crash in Perth.
LeCras was travelling in the opposite direction when he saw a car veer from the road into bushland on the Great Eastern Highway on Wednesday night.
Rushing to the scene, LeCras helped in pulling two people from the front of the car but was unable to save the third from the rear before the car caught fire, according to multiple reports in Perth.
