PORT Adelaide midfielder Brad Ebert won't play again this season unless the Power reach the finals as he recovers from a torn PCL.
Ebert will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks with a knee injury sustained in the Power's round 17 loss to Brisbane.
The 246-game veteran will miss the remainder of the home and away season with five rounds remaining before the finals.
The post-season bye would aid the 29-year-old's bid to be fit for the first week of the finals if the ninth-placed Power can elevate themselves into the top eight.
THE RUN HOME Forget top four, can Tigers make top two?
Ebert will be in a knee brace for the next fortnight before he returns to training.
Defender Ryan Burton will miss 4-6 weeks with a right hamstring injury sustained in the same game against the Lions.
Meanwhile, midfielder/defender Dan Houston will have to pass concussion tests before he's cleared to face Greater Western Sydney at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.
Houston sustained a head knock in the Power's 38-point loss to Richmond at the MCG on Sunday.
NINE THINGS WE LEARNED Top two recruits of 2019 are Lions
Power co-captain Ollie Wines has also been listed as a test this week with his fractured thumb.
However, coach Ken Hinkley said after the loss to the Tigers that Wines would miss at least another week.
"He’ll certainly be at least another week or two, but it’s one we’ll have to wait and see a little bit when he starts to handle the ball again," Hinkley said.
