BRISBANE'S match against Collingwood tonight is officially a sellout.
The crowd at the Gabba will certainly be the highest since 2015 and could go as high as the number in 2010 when Brendan Fevola wore maroon, blue and gold.

With limited member-only seats remaining, the Lions are encouraging general admission members to either scan in early or upgrade to reserved seating membership to guarantee a spot.

The last time Brisbane drew close to that number was round one 2015, also against Collingwood, when 31,240 spectators came along to see Dayne Beams play his first game in Lions' colours against his former club.

Beams will again be a central figure in this clash after returning to Collingwood in the off-season and playing against the team he captained less than 12 months ago.

The contest has extra significance for the Lions who are trying to make the 'Easter Thursday' match a regular on the fixture, something they did in the early 2000s.
AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan said prior to round one he was open to it being a "permanent or semi-permanent slot".
"They've got to deliver, they know that, but they're feel-good," he said of the Lions.
"There's a bit to happen there yet but Collingwood are keen, I know that, and Brisbane are keen, but we need to have a look at this year and see how the game plays out.
"We know it can work. We know the people travel. We know the Brisbane supporters support the slot so if we can make it work, we'd love to do that."
McLachlan will be in attendance.
Channel Seven usually broadcasts Lions games into Brisbane on 7mate, this game, however, will be live Seven's main channel. The game starts at 7.35pm AEST.
