BRISBANE forward Charlie Cameron has suffered a nasty-looking arm injury in the opening minutes of the Lions' semi-final clash against Greater Western Sydney.
But in a stunning turn of events, he returned just minutes later to take a courageous mark and snap a team-lifting major, sending the Gabba crowd into a frenzy after the Giants' hot start.
After the Lions' opening foray forward, Cameron was attempting to tackle Giant Tim Taranto from behind when his Brisbane teammate Lachie Neale crashed into his right arm from the side.
Cameron was on the ground for several moments and was attended by trainers before being helped from the field.
However, he returned to the ground a few minutes later after having his right elbow heavily strapped.
Shortly afterwards, he leapt for a contested chest mark and was tackled heavily to the ground by opponent Aidan Corr.

More controversy was sparked when the umpires warned Giant Adam Kennedy not to make contact with Cameron's injured arm as the pair was running back to their positions.
