EVERY week there seems to be issues with our Fantasy Draft teams. Maybe it's an injury or suspension, but what we are seeing more often than not is a player who scored more on the bench that in hindsight we could have played to get the extra points.
Collingwood, Geelong, Adelaide and Greater Western Sydney are the teams scoring the most points this year. Savvy Fantasy coaches will look at the other end of the scale to see which teams give up the most points.
WHO MAKES FINALS? Do the 2019 Ladder Predictor
Richmond concede almost 80 points per game more than Gold Coast (ranked No.2), including 5.7 100s, to be the easiest team to score on. Carlton and Melbourne are always allowing plenty of points to be scored.
Digging deeper, it could be worth fielding players who are up against teams which give up higher scores to certain positions.
In defence, the Tigers and Demons appear to allow the most points. Midfielders playing the Suns, Tigers and Roos see a spike in scoring while those taking on the Demons, Crows and Hawks let up the most points to forwards.

Defenders
Nick Haynes, DEF, Greater Western Sydney (ADP 247, 41 per cent)
Able to take nine marks to go with his 26 disposals, Haynes scored 111 against the Saints to post back-to-back Fantasy tons. The Giants have a Fantasy-friendly fixture over the next few weeks, so the 26-year-old defender has the opportunity to hold down a D3 or D4 spot over the next month.
Brayden Maynard, DEF, Collingwood (ADP 228, 40 per cent)
It's no secret the Pies are the highest scoring Fantasy team in the competition and Maynard should be a decent option to play or use as cover, with the Blues, Saints, Swans, Dockers and Demons before their bye.
Hayden Crozier, DEF, Western Bulldogs (ADP 225, 30 per cent)
Crozier made this column last week based on the match up against the Tigers, in which he delivered 116 for his coaches. While his ownership increased from 21 per cent to 30 per cent, there are plenty of leagues that should consider the Bulldog, who is averaging 99 over his last three.
Midfielders
Hugh McCluggage, MID, Brisbane (ADP 205, 51 per cent)
Available in around half of Fantasy Draft leagues, a player averaging 101 in his last three shouldn't be available as a free agent. McCluggage is enjoying his midfield role and has even been able to sneak forward to kick goals. Snagging two against the Swans to go with his 24 disposals and six tackles, get your bid in for the Suitcase.

Anthony Miles, MID, Gold Coast (ADP 168, 38 per cent)
There was plenty of hype around Miles during the pre-season as greater opportunity at the Suns was likely to see a spike in his scoring. This didn't come to fruition and he missed rounds five and six. Miles' return saw him rack up 26 disposals, seven marks and five tackles for 115 points.
Jed Anderson, MID, North Melbourne (ADP 224, 30 per cent)
If you're playing in a deeper league and Anderson is available, snap him up. Looks to be relatively safe for a 90 with the time he is spending in the midfield.
Rucks
Reilly O'Brien, RUC, Adelaide (ADP 271, 47 per cent)
Coaches in Fantasy Classic who have O'Brien on their bench will be stoked with his $220k price rise, but Fantasy Draft coaches may look to play him this week. Sam Jacobs is still a month away and following his 120 on Sunday against the Dockers, O'Brien should be considered while he is the sole ruck.
Forwards
Tom Papley, FWD, Sydney (ADP 248, 60 per cent)
You have to take the good with the bad – or know when to play him – with Papley. With a 51 sandwiched between 102 on the weekend and 113 over the last three rounds, the Swan had to boot four goals for his ton this week, but he is gaining midfield minutes. One to play against teams who give up higher Fantasy numbers.
Jaidyn Stephenson, FWD, Collingwood (ADP 269, 28 per cent)
Another player to kick four goals and notch up a ton, Stephenson is one to stash on the bench in deeper leagues and play when required. The Pies have some tasty games coming up and the 2018 NAB AFL Rising Star could see a spike in his scoring.
Aaron Naughton, DEF/FWD, Western Bulldogs (ADP Nil, 9 per cent)
Going one better than the previously mentioned forward free agents, Naughton slotted five majors, but it was his impressive marking that helped him to 125. He's an unlikely option to bring in as a free agent, however as a bench option with the DEF/FWD dual position status he could be a sound emergency when needed.
