JARROD Witts has been named Gold Coast's club champion, capping off an outstanding 12 months for the towering ruckman.
Witts tallied 553 votes to be well clear of his fellow Suns vice-captain David Swallow (417) who finished second.

Much-improved midfielder Darcy Macpherson (368) edged out 2018 winner Jarrod Harbrow by a solitary vote for third place.
But in front of 450 guests at Southport's Sharks Event Centre, the night belonged to Witts.
His third year at Gold Coast was undoubtedly his best, playing all 22 games and recording an incredible 1008 hitouts, the most by any ruckman in the history of the competition.
Witts did so much more in his first season as captain though, never dropping his standards despite a difficult year for the Suns, averaging 14 disposals and five clearances.
Swallow, like Witts, thrived with the joint captaincy, playing all 22 games for the first time since winning the Suns' best and fairest in 2014.
Retiring veteran Michael Rischitelli was rewarded for his nine years and 132 games of service by joining Harbrow as the club's only life members.
