PORT Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley is at odds with Melbourne counterpart Simon Goodwin about the Power's physical treatment of Demons star ruckman Max Gawn.
The Demons sought clarification from the AFL after Power players bumped and harassed the All Australian big man on their way to a surprise 26-point victory at the MCG last Saturday.

Speaking on Thursday, Hinkley didn't believe his side was out of line, apart from co-captain Tom Jonas being fined $2000.
"I think it was pretty clear – there was one free kick paid and Tom Jonas got a fine for it," Hinkley said.
"Outside of that, I don't think there was anything to it.
"I think it's been blown up a bit.
"If you look at the game and think we individualised or went after one player particularly in a hard way, I'd expect our players to go after the other 21 players equally as hard, but yeah, we understood Max was a significant player for them.
"We won't deny the fact we talked about it, but I don't think it was over the top."

Asked if the Power would replicate their tactics against Carlton's most important player – hard-nosed midfielder Patrick Cripps – at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, Hinkley said: "I'm really cautious how I answer this because I don't think we went over the top in trying to identify that space too greatly.
"We go out there this week against 22 Carlton players, we're going to try and put a lot of pressure on all of them, the best we possibly can.
"That's where we'll start and that's where we'll stop, all of them are important."

The Power will go in unchanged.
Power co-captain Ollie Wines is expected to return for the round three encounter with Brisbane, while vice-captain Hamish Hartlett could also be back for his first senior appearance since a knee reconstruction.

Wines hasn't played since dislocating his shoulder in a wakeboarding accident on Australia Day.
"We would think (he would be back next week), but we'll be very careful, it's a long season, we won't push it if he's not ready," Hinkley said.

Hartlett was impressive in a SANFL trial last Friday night against Adelaide, racking up 19 disposals across half-back.
It was his first game since tearing his ACL on April 26 last year.
He will play in Port's round one SANFL game on Friday night against West Adelaide, along with fellow defender Matthew Broadbent, who has recovered from a minor hamstring strain after missing last season with an ankle injury.
"Without putting a timeframe on him, we'd expect Hamish will get back in the AFL side very quickly, he's our vice-captain, it's just a matter of making sure he's right," Hinkley said.
