SYDNEY superstar forward Lance Franklin could come under the scrutiny of Match Review Officer Michael Christian after an incident that left Fremantle defender Joel Hamling concussed in Saturday night's clash at the SCG.
Franklin picked up a loose ball in the second term and ran straight into Hamling's attempted tackle, with his elbow connecting with the defender's chin.
The Docker came from the ground with blood coming from his mouth and was assessed by Fremantle's medical staff, before being ruled out of the game with concussion.

Swans coach John Longmire couldn't offer much when asked about the incident post-match.
"I actually didn't see it, it was only when someone said that Hamling was off (that I realised), so I actually can't comment," he said.
Fremantle coach Ross Lyon was in the same boat and told the media he was more worried about his side's failing forward line at the time.
He said it was too early to think about Hamling's chances of playing against North Melbourne next week.
"I thought he was up and about, defending aggressively, but they were getting away from us before he went down," he said.
"He seems OK, it was a concussion, but hopefully he recovers well enough to get up and if he doesn’t we wouldn’t play him next week.”
