AN ADELAIDE supporter who gave Western Bulldogs captain Easton Wood a smack on the bottom has been banned from attending AFL games at Adelaide Oval for the rest of the season.
The Adelaide Oval Sports Management Authority imposed the sanction on the Crows fan after examining vision from last Friday night's game between the Crows and the Bulldogs.
The supporter lent over the fence and made contact with Wood just before half-time.
The Crows were unable to hand out a penalty of their own because the fan was not a member of the club but was using a ticket borrowed from an acquaintance.
The member who provided the ticket to the supporter has received a warning from the club.
In a statement, the Crows said the AFL was informed during the entire investigation and was satisfied with the outcome.
