THE WESTERN Bulldogs could regain Billy Gowers, Marcus Adams and Roarke Smith from injury for Sunday's clash with North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium.
Gowers, who has kicked a club-best 21 goals this season, has been sidelined with an ankle injury since the round 17 clash with West Coast.
Adams missed the win over St Kilda with a shoulder complaint, while Smith received a concussion in the first quarter against the Saints, after recovering from a car accident on July 27.
FROM THE TWOS Who starred in the state leagues?
"(Billy's) still got a fair few boxes for us to tick this Thursday (at training), but once he gets through those tests we'll determine his availability," Bulldogs medical services manager Chris Bell told westernbulldogs.com.au.
"We're going to work with Marcus this week to determine his availability, but he'd have to come back with full strength and function (in his shoulder), so we'll work through a process over the next couple of days.
"Roarke came in quite well today, but we'll need to be conservative in our management of him over the next week.
"We'll go through our process of tests to make an accurate decision on his return to play plan."
Ruckman Tom Campbell is expected to be available after he was a late withdrawal from Saturday's VFL win over Frankston.
