BRISBANE draftee Thomas Berry has wasted no time following in the footsteps of his older brother, taking the number 13 guernsey worn by Jarrod the past two seasons.
The Lions' five draftees all chose their playing numbers on their first day of training on Monday and it was the younger Berry's selection that caught the eye.

Jarrod wore the 13 for his first 37 games after being drafted in 2016 before recently switching to the number seven jumper vacated by the delisted Tom Bell.

Brisbane's first selection, tough midfielder Ely Smith, will wear the number eight jumper previously worn by Rohan Bewick and most famously by two-time premiership player Tim Notting.
Tom Joyce (32), Noah Answerth (43) and Lions Academy product Connor McFadyen (45) also chose their numbers.
