CLAREMONT midfielder Jye Bolton has become the most decorated current-day player in the west, winning his second Sandover Medal on Monday night and raising prospects of an AFL draft lifeline.
After winning in 2016, Bolton became the first dual winner since Allistair Pickett (2002 and 2004) and the 14th player to salute multiple times.
The 26-year-old, who was taken by Collingwood in the 2010 Rookie Draft before being delisted 12 months later, averaged 31 disposals this season for the Tigers.
Bolton polled 52 votes to win from former Gold Coast midfielder Kyal Horsley (47).

Horsley's Subiaco teammate Lachlan Delahunty was third with 38 votes.
Subiaco's stunning undefeated year, which saw it finish five games clear in first position with a percentage of 222, was reflected in the awards across the night.
Coach Jarrad Schofield was named the JJ Leonard medallist as coach of the year, while the club was awarded the Rodriguez Shield for the best combined record across league, reserves and colt divisions.
Subiaco reserves player Daniel Leach won the Prendergast Medal for best-and-fairest in the reserves.
While it's fairly common to see multiple winners of a leading goalkicker award, it's rare both winners are teammates.
However, West Perth duo Tyler Keitel and Andrew Strijk shared the Bernie Naylor Medal after kicking 43 goals apiece. West Coast forward Liam Ryan won the award last year while playing for Subiaco.
The WAFL Grand Final will be held on Sunday, with Subiaco and West Perth meeting at Optus Stadium.
