HAWTHORN veteran Shaun Burgoyne has revealed how he was on the receiving end of some interesting tactics from triple premiership teammate Luke Hodge.

Hodge faced Burgoyne and his former teammates for the first time as a Brisbane player on Sunday, leaving with the last laugh to deliver the Lions' first win of the season.

"He did tackle me and he squeezed my nipples pretty hard," Burgoyne told SEN on Wednesday.

"I couldn’t do anything about it because he tackled me from behind, so he had a little bit of venom in his tackling."
