ST KILDA remains hopeful full-back Jake Carlisle will be fit to face Collingwood next Saturday night after he was concussed against Fremantle at Optus Stadium.
Carlisle had started Saturday night’s match superbly with five first-quarter marks in defence but stayed on the deck for some time early in the second term after Nat Fyfe’s left knee collected him in the temple/cheekbone area while the big Saint was fighting for the ball on the ground.

He eventually walked from the field with trainers but went straight down to the rooms to be assessed.
Saints coach Alan Richardson said Carlisle returned to the bench during the second half and he expected he would return home with the rest of the team.
Fyfe is unlikely to face action over the incident which appeared to just be an unfortunate accident.
"It was just an accident, there was no intent there," Richardson said.
"I would imagine he’ll be OK, it depends on how he pulls up. He’ll be a test during the week. He was certainly a bit groggy afterwards.
"My understanding is that he’ll fly back with the team.
"He’ll have a test but we think he is fine facially, just concussion."
