COLLINGWOOD has re-signed in-demand swingman Darcy Moore.
The Pies also hope to re-sign defender Tom Langdon in the coming days as they work through the finer details of his contract extension.
List manager Ned Guy confirmed Moore's two-year deal on Monday morning as clubs gathered at Marvel Stadium for the opening day of the NAB AFL Trade Period. Guy said the Magpies were "glad to get it done" after much speculation about Moore's future at the club.
After Langdon's impressive season where he stood up in a decimated backline, Guy said Collingwood hoped to finalise Langdon's extension, possibly as early as Tuesday.
"We're hoping to lock away Tom Langdon sooner rather than later," Guy said.
"We'll hopefully have some good conversations in the next day or so and hopefully that will help get that done, then we'll see what else is out there."
He also said they were keen to talk to Gold Coast about Steven May but were respectful of the fact there's one year left to run on his contract at the Suns.
May is yet to officially declare he wants a trade out of the Suns but that hasn't stopped their co-captain from being linked to multiple clubs, including Collingwood and Melbourne.

"Steven is contracted at the Gold Coast and if they look at doing something, we'd love to have a conversation, but we obviously respect his contract at the Suns," Guy said.
"We'll wait to see what happens but I think every club would have interest in a player like Steven."
Meanwhile, the Pies could be told in the coming days where free agent Alex Fasolo is headed.
"We're not too sure. We'll wait to hear from Alex and his management and Carlton if that's where he's going," Guy said.
The Blues confirmed via list manager Stephen Silvagni on Monday morning on NAB AFL Trade Radio they expected to have some news "in the next 48 hours" on the uncontracted Magpie.
