A NEW WAWFL premier will be crowned on Sunday when East Fremantle takes on Subiaco, while in the QWAFL, last season's runner-up Coorparoo will be aiming to go one better against minor premier Wilston Grange in the Grand Final, also on Sunday.

The Sharks have been the team to beat all season, having lost only once. Their squad features a number of Fremantle's AFLW players, with Ashlee Atkins one of six players to boot more than 10 goals this season.
Midfielder Evangeline Gooch has also hit the scoreboard, while Gabby O'Sullivan and Melissa Caulfield have been among the Sharks' best.
Subiaco is a surprise participant in the Grand Final, after finishing fourth on the ladder. This is the Lions' first season in the competition after aligning with the Coastal Titans, who won seven WAWFL premierships from 2004-15.
The Lions needed a last-round win against the Perth Angels to secure a finals spot. They were impressive in beating the more fancied Peel Thunderbirds and Swan Districts to reach the Grand Final.
Earlier this week, Subiaco's Hayley Miller won the Dhara Kerr Medal as league best and fairest. The Fremantle-listed AFLW player and Subiaco captain has been a clearance machine and has provided tremendous tackling pressure.
Former Docker Amy Lavell has booted 38 goals for Subiaco this season, while another ex-Docker and new Western Bulldogs signing Belinda Smith has kicked 37 goals.
These teams met three times during the home and away season, with the Sharks winning all three by an average of 20 points. Their first encounter in round five produced the closest margin (three points).

Wilston Grange Gorillas v Coorparoo Kings

Two players key to the Brisbane Lions' success in the AFLW will meet as opponents in the QWAFL Grand Final.
Kate Lutkins has been Wilston Grange's most dominant defender all season, highlighted by her performance against Coorparoo's star goalkicker Jenae Govan in a semi-final a fortnight ago.
Govan has kicked the most goals in the QWAFL this season (34), but was held goalless by Lutkins as Wilson Grange won by 10 points to earn the right to host the Grand Final.
Coorparoo's star player is Lions goalkicker Jess Wuetschner, who has booted 21 goals this season. She has kicked only one goal in three games against Wilston Grange this season, and will need to be on target if the visitors are to cause an upset.
Ally Anderson and Emma Pittman are Brisbane's other AFLW-listed players seeking premiership glory, with Shannon Campbell taking the field for Wilston Grange.
Wilston Grange finished the home and away season on top of the ladder, winning 13 matches and losing only one.
The Gorillas have won all three of their matches against the Kings this season by an average of 26 points.
