FREMANTLE has made a late change for its clash against Adelaide at Optus Stadium, replacing rangy defender Taylin Duman (back soreness) with Ryan Nyhuis.

Adelaide will go into the match as selected.

Duman was recalled against Collingwood last week after tallying four games from his debut against the Bulldogs in round five, but will miss after tweaking his back getting out of the car.

The 20-year-old has been playing predominantly across half-back.

His replacement, Nyhuis, has been solid in defence for Peel, but could play forward to supplement the omission of out-of-form forward Cam McCarthy.

Coach Ross Lyon told Fox Footy pre-match the Dockers were poised to drop ruckman Scott Jones for the 21-year-old, but circumstances forced their hand.

Nyhuis kicked four goals on debut last year against North Melbourne, playing a defensive role on star defender Robbie Tarrant.
