BRISBANE midfielder Allen Christensen will be at the Lions next season after signing a one-year contract extension.
After a horror run of collarbone injuries in 2016 and 2017, Christensen has played all 12 games so far this season.
The 27-year-old said it was a relief to re-sign after such a disrupted few years.
"At stages throughout my injuries I didn't know if I was ever going to play footy again so for the club to want me around for another year, I'm excited," Christensen said.
"Thankfully I've been able to play every game this year.
"I know I've got another level I can go up to. I'm still readjusting to what the game is now, it's a completely different game from what it was two years ago."
Congratulations Bundy Christensen on the contract extension! #resilience

Another thing Christensen said he was adjusting to was coach Chris Fagan's game-plan.
"I'd never played under 'Fages' before," he said.
"I think I've got a full grasp on what Fages wants now.
"It's been a challenging time dealing with some of the feedback, I hadn't had to deal with (it) for 18 months, so being able to change that constructive criticism and turning it into a positive has been good."
Christensen is in his fourth season at the Lions after coming from Geelong in the 2014 NAB AFL Trade Period.
He has made a big impression on the young group and was last year voted into the club's leadership group.
