ANOTHER drama-filled day of trade news is in the books, with Giant Tom Scully the latest name to emerge as Fremantle backed out of negotiations for Demon Jesse Hogan.

Scully set to be a Hawk
Greater Western Sydney midfielder Tom Scully met with Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson and passed a medical on Thursday, according to the Herald Sun.
The 27-year-old, the No.1 pick in the 2009 NAB AFL Draft, might cost the Hawks only their third-round selection (No.53 overall) as the Giants conduct a fire sale to solve their salary cap woes.
Scully signed a four-year contract extension in 2016 to remain at GWS until the end of the 2021 season.
The Giants are also set to lose Dylan Shiel (Essendon) and Rory Lobb (Fremantle), on top of trading Will Setterfield to Carlton on Friday.
AFL.com.au understands Scully, who is from Berwick in Melbourne's south-east, recently bought land in the vicinity of where he grew up.

Roughead a Magpie?
Western Bulldogs big man Jordan Roughead once looked headed for West Coast as a free agent, but Collingwood has emerged as a willing trade suitor, The Age reports.
Roughead was left in limbo when the Eagles signed out-of-favour Saint Tom Hickey as their Scott Lycett replacement, then watched as the free agency window closed without a deal of his own.
Any move within the next five days will require a trade to be struck between the Bulldogs and a rival club.

'Get real': Lions' message to Freo
Brisbane has issued a stern message to Fremantle in its pursuit of Lachie Neale, telling the stubborn Dockers to get realistic in trade discussions, the Courier-Mail is reporting.
Fremantle was able to pry the No.2 pick in last year's draft from Gold Coast in a deal for Lachie Weller, but the Lions don't think that trade should be used as a gauge for what will happen with Neale.
Brisbane remains adamant that pick five is a fair offer for the Dockers' dual club champion, whereas Ross Lyon's team wants a second first-round selection.
Fremantle's stance is ironic, given it baulked at Melbourne's demands for key forward Jesse Hogan and withdrew from discussions as a result, as AFL.com.au revealed on Friday.
The Dockers' new football boss Peter Bell informed the Demons and Hogan's management the deal won't proceed, with the football community trying to work out whether it was a tactical move.
"While discussions were proceeding, it became clear that what Melbourne would be seeking for a trade would not be possible for our club to meet," Bell said.
"As such, we have informed Melbourne and Jesse's management that we will not be continuing further with the due diligence process."

Kelly could depart Crows
Collingwood is considering making a play for contracted Crows defender Jake Kelly if Tom Langdon elects to leave the club, according to The Advertiser.
Langdon is weighing up a six-year offer from Sydney and has also been linked to Fremantle, where his brother Ed is a key contributor.
Kelly's dad, high-powered player agent Craig, played in the Magpies' 1990 premiership team.
His brother, Collingwood father-son prospect Will, another backman, looks likely to be at the Holden Centre in 2019.
