Scans on Saturday revealed the extent of the damage and the Bulldogs will comment officially on Monday afternoon.

Morris is renowned as one of the AFL's toughest competitors and he played through the 2016 finals series with a fractured vertebrae.
The 34-year-old is a crucial loss, particularly ahead of Friday night's Grand Final rematch against the Sydney Swans at Etihad Stadium.
Morris - who has played 230 senior games since his 2005 debut - would have been one of the Bulldogs defenders matching up on Swans star Lance Franklin.
