INJURED Adelaide midfielders Brad Crouch and Scott Thompson are on track to play in a SANFL trial game next weekend as they build up match fitness before returning to the AFL.
The pair have been earmarked to play for Adelaide's state league team in a trial game with Woodville-West Torrens at Football Park on Saturday, March 25 - the day before the Crows host Greater Western Sydney at Adelaide Oval.
Crouch has been sidelined with a hamstring injury sustained in early January.
The Crows originally believed the 23-year-old would be out for only a couple weeks before announcing in February he would miss the entire JLT Community Series.
Thompson, 34, aggravated a long-standing shoulder injury in January and also didn't play any part in the pre-season competition.
Winger Paul Seedsman is an outside chance to play in that SANFL trial game, but he is more likely to return from his groin injury the following week.
The Crows are taking a cautious approach with draftee Ben Davis, who has had a very limited pre-season after arriving at the club with a stress fracture in his foot.
