SPEEDSTER Matthew White has been delisted by Port Adelaide, with the former Tiger among three players cut by the Power on Sunday.
The club announced it had decided not to offer White, Jesse Palmer and Brett Eddy new contracts for next year.
White arrived at Port Adelaide as a free agent after 105 games with Richmond, and immediately became a key part of their running and attacking style with his pace off half-back.
But the 30-year-old has been able to play only eight senior games in the past two years and will not be a part of a new-look Port Adelaide next year after the club's busy trade and free agency period.
"Matthew came to Port Adelaide in 2014 and has been a really important member of the squad with his speed and ability to hit the scoreboard," Power football manager Chris Davies said.
"Regrettably, injury robbed Matthew of all but a few minutes of football in 2016, but he fought back to make an impact in the AFL in 2017 and was also a great leader with our young SANFL team."
Palmer played three games – all in 2016 – while Eddy was a mature-age rookie picked up last year. He played the first three games of the season and booted three majors.
The trio's departures mean a quarter of the club's 2017 list won't be at Alberton Oval in 2018, with Brendon Ah Chee, Logan Austin, Jarman Impey, Matthew Lobbe and Aaron Young all traded, Jackson Trengove leaving as a free agent and Angus Monfries and Nathan Krakouer retiring.
