PORT Adelaide forward Jarman Impey has been brought straight into the side for Sunday's game with Fremantle after serving a club-imposed suspension for an off-field incident.
The Power's leadership group banned Impey for the round one clash and fined him $5000 after he crashed into four parked cars and fled the scene in an incident in December.
Impey was fined $700 after pleading guilty on Friday in the Adelaide Magistrates Court to driving without due care, failing to exchange particulars and failing to report the collision.
"I fully accept the court's decision," Impey told reporters outside court.
"It's behind me now and I'm looking forward to the future.
"I'm looking forward to getting out on the park this Sunday afternoon and putting this all behind me."
"Didn't seem to do any harm," Magistrate David Gurry said, referring to Port Adelaide's victory over Sydney last weekend.
"Jarman's really attacked everything he needed to attack, he made a big mistake and he's owned that," Power coach Ken Hinkley said on Friday.
"We've made him pay a price for that and he couldn't have done any more to earn the trust back of the group.
"Jarman was a first-class person before the mistake.
"He's learnt from that mistake and hopefully that proof will continue to be throughout his whole life and not just his football one."
Impey established himself in the Power's best 22 last season with his pressure and repeat efforts in the forward half of the ground.
Mature-aged recruit Brett Eddy makes way for Impey after he had just three touches in his AFL debut in the Power's upset of Sydney at the SCG last weekend.
Impey is a different player to Eddy, the 27-year-old key forward who finally earnt his spot on an AFL list through weight of the goals in the SANFL with South Adelaide.
"It's not because Brett was really poor, it was the fact Jarman was available and we were always going to pick him," Hinkley said.
"Jarman's part of our best team and when you've got players of that quality available you've got to put them in the team.
"Brett did everything he could to help us get a win.
"We think our best model is based around defensive pressure as a team and we think Jarman helps us improve that.
"One is super fast and one is a taller player, so we've got the ability to put a bit more speed in the team."
Draftees Joe Atley and Willem Drew will drop out of the Power's extended 25-man squad.
Midfielder/forward Robbie Gray, who has been the Power's best and fairest winner for the past three years, was held to just eight touches against the Swans.
"Robbie will be the first to say he wasn't as clean as he would've liked," Hinkley said.
"He's had some groin issues and stuff over the summer, but it's not stuff that stops a player of Robbie's quality.
"I think Robbie will play pretty well this week."
