THE WESTERN Bulldogs have been left one-man down by midway through the second quarter in their clash with Fremantle at Domain Stadium after midfield tough nut Liam Picken was taken off following a heavy head knock.
Picken collided with Docker Tommy Sheridan and his head was sandwiched between Sheridan’s hip and the ground.
He lay motionless for 30 seconds before getting up and making his way off the field with the assistance of trainers.
Picken had his tracksuit on talking to the club doctor in the Dogs' dugout soon afterwards and looked unlikely to return.
