CARLTON forward Levi Casboult is "keeping his options open" until the end of this season but has not yet agreed to join any other club as a free agent, according to his manager.
After Sydney re-signed Sam Reid for four years earlier this week, Casboult is one of the last tall forwards available in this year's free agency pool and he has been linked to Richmond.
He put off contract negotiations until the end of the season in June, declaring through his management that he wanted to let his football speak for itself before agreeing to a new deal.
The 27-year-old's manager, Anthony McConville, said that would include assessing any offer from Carlton after round 23.
"At the end of the day it's going to be Levi’s decision as to whether he remains at Carlton," McConville told News Corp.
"My job is to facilitate what is available for him. I can assure you at this point in time there is no deal from any club that has been brokered or agreed to.
"It will remain that way until the last game and then we will see at year's end what is available at Carlton. We will keep all our options open until the end of the year."
Casboult has enjoyed a career-best season, kicking 29 goals and averaging seven hit-outs as a key forward and support ruckman.
His goalkicking accuracy turned around significantly in the first half of the season when McConville announced contract talks would be put on hold, but he has kicked 12.14 since round 12.
Casboult is an unrestricted free agent, meaning Carlton would not have the opportunity to match a rival offer for their player if he wanted to leave at the end of this season.
