Tom Barrass - 7
Not a high-possession game but was steady down back and the master of Power youngster Todd Marshall.
Jamie Cripps - 6
Kicked a big goal in the second term. Lively most of the night playing largely as a half forward.
Jack Darling - 7
Set the tone when he marked on the goal line in the opening minute, and kicked three majors to half time. Faded but was significant.

Liam Duggan - 5
Limited influence playing largely in defence but composed when called on.
Andrew Gaff - 6
Looked like he might have blown a chance to win the match in the dying minutes when he elected to soccer instead of picking the ball up. Was prolific on his wing and broke plenty of lines.
Shannon Hurn - 7
Strong captain's performance playing down back. Played a drop-off role for much of the night and gave Eric Mckenzie all the help he could.
Mark Hutchings - 6
Played back for most of the night. Ran super hard and was often the get-out kick as the Eagles tried to work through Port's press.
Lewis Jetta - 7
A typical Lewis Jetta match. Was disappointing at times but when the game was there to be won in extra time it was his ability to break lines that helped win the Eagles this match. With his side trailing by 13 points in added time he burst through the middle and kicked long to where Josh Kennedy would soccer a goal.

Josh Kennedy - 6
Very well held for four quarters but this game had a fifth-quarter and Kennedy kicked two goals to be among the Eagles' heroes.
Mark LeCras - 4
Super quiet night. Did continue to work and helped keep the ball in the Eagles’ half in extra time.
Eric Mackenzie - 4
Beaten by Charlie Dixon and will be thanking his lucky stars the Power big man didn't have his kicking boot on during extra time. His heroics in going back and being prepared to collide with the point post in the dying seconds of the fourth term prevented a heartbreaking one-point loss.
Five things we learned from Port Adelaide v West Coast
Jeremy McGovern - 9
Best afield and is the biggest reason West Coast is alive. Took 15 marks including five contested, and was a thorn in Port's side as it tried to get value for its domination after half-time.
Sam Mitchell - 7
His career is alive. It was vintage Mitchell in the first term with his creative brilliance. His effort mirrored that of the Eagles. Faded but then got a second wind and played an important role late.

Luke Partington - 4
Quiet match up forward but his role was largely dictated by keeping out of the big forward's space.
Drew Petrie - 8
Huge effort by the veteran. Nailed important goals in the first and final terms and played minutes in the ruck to help Vardy.
Matt Priddis - 8
Huge performance to extend his career by another week. Prolific numbers and kicked a massive goal when Port appeared ready to run away with the match in final term.

Jack Redden - 6
Strong first half on the wing. Couple of nervous moments and turnovers after half-time.
Dom Sheed - 5
Played a pretty defensive midfield role around the stoppages. Wasn't able to quell Robbie Gray when he went into the middle but worked hard.
Brad Shepard - 5
Generally a very good night taking Port's dangerous small forward's Chad Wingard and Robbie Gray. Had a couple of forgettable moments including a fumble and fall which led to a second-term Sam Gray goal.
Luke Shuey - 8
The hero. His knack of drawing high contact helped him draw a free kick in the dying seconds of overtime and the rest is history. Finished with big numbers despite spending time off the ground with a sore ankle.

Nathan Vardy - 7
The Eagles would be thrilled with the overall effort of the big man. Paddy Ryder had a big advantage in hit-outs but Vardy prevented Ryder having a massive game, and that is what his coach asked of him.
Elliot Yeo - 6
Wasn't the dynamic performance we've come to expect but was part of a back six which survived a deluge of Port attacks. Played much of the night on Jake Neade in something of a mismatch.
