CARLTON has been dealt a blow, with defender Sarah Last out for the rest of NAB AFL Women’s competition after she tore the ACL in her left knee last weekend.
Last, 22, was injured in the loss to Adelaide at Thebarton Oval on Sunday.
"Unfortunately, Sarah will need a knee reconstruction which will put her out for the next 12 months," coach Damien Keeping said.
"We will get support around her and look to get her back next season."
Marquee player Brianna Davey is likely to miss two matches with a lower back injury sustained in the same match.
