St Kilda v Greater Western Sydney, Etihad Stadium, Friday night

The Friday night lights sees us take this one on in the turbo form of Draftstars, where coaches must pick six players (one from six different categories based on the players' scores so far this season).

In the top tier it's too hard to go past Dylan Roberton (DEF, $14,900), who continued his brilliant start to the year with 132 points last week against Hawthorn. It's him or Nick Riewoldt (FWD, $14,900) in tier one but we're going with Roberton, who is averaging 109 this season.

Josh Kelly's (MID, $13,600) 101.8-point average sees him get the nod in the second tier, Jack Newnes (MID, $12,600) is our pick in the third, and Dylan Shiel (MID, $11,900) is a must-get in the fourth.

From there the final two selections are a bit tougher, but we're predicting Jack Billings (FWD, $10,600) has a good game after building his form in recent weeks while Rory Lobb (FWD/RK, $9050) should be able to clunk some marks. They're our choices in the final two spots of the turbo Draftstars line-up.

North Melbourne v Adelaide, Blundstone Arena, Saturday

The advice for this one, as has been the case in recent weeks, is to pick as many Crows as possible. They're on song, and Rory Sloane (MID, $17,500) is leading the charge. His monster 155-point game pushed him to the top of the competition for total points this year.

Ruckman Sam Jacobs (RK, $13,700) picked up 158 points last week against Richmond in an outstanding showing and might be the ruckman you're after, while Matt Crouch (MID, $14,150) has become a consistently high-scoring midfielder after notching his third century in the past four weeks. You can't go wrong with too many Crows.

Shaun Higgins (FWD/MID, $12,150) is the best premium option from a North perspective. He gathered 117 points in last week's win after returning from injury and has been the top-performed Kangaroo all year.

Nathan Hrovat (FWD, $11,050) was good last week with 103 – his best score as a Roo – while Taylor Garner (FWD, $9900) continues his strong form since being back in the senior side. He comes a bit cheaper, but in the past three rounds has averaged 81.

Collingwood v Carlton, MCG, Saturday

Collingwood's midfield was back up and going last week against Geelong, with Taylor Adams (MID, $16,600) starring with 148 points and Scott Pendlebury (MID, $15,000) prolific with 141. It was a smart choice to grab Pendlebury after his quiet Anzac Day showing.

Daniel Wells (FWD/MID, $12,400) has also proved a canny selection for coaches who grabbed him straight after his delayed start to the year. The former Kangaroo is averaging 93 points in his first two games back for the Pies and looks set to get even better. He would be a unique choice at a reasonable price.

Two Carlton defenders run amok last week in the Blues' surprise win over Sydney. Kade Simpson (MID/DEF, $14,550) gathered a game-high 161 points and Sam Docherty picked up 159 to totally dominate play. Docherty is ranked 12th in the competition for total points.

The Blues' midfielders Patrick Cripps (MID, $14,000), Ed Curnow (MID, $12,950), Bryce Gibbs (MID, $14,200) and Marc Murphy (MID, $15,450) all scored over 100 last week to solidify their status as strong picks, while first-year player Sam Petrevski-Seton (MID, $9650) had 77 points and is playing good footy. He's worth one of your mid-range selections.

Port Adelaide v West Coast, Adelaide Oval

Charlie Dixon (FWD, $10,050) cashed in on a poor Brisbane Lions outfit last week by kicking four goals, taking 12 marks and bringing in 125 Draftstars points. Don't get too seduced into taking him, however, with Dixon averaging 79 for the season and only once passing triple figures.

Brad Ebert (MID, $14,900) backed up his brilliant round five effort with 96 points last week, while Jasper Pittard (DEF, $11,950) held up his 92-point average with 90 points against the Lions.

West Coast was back home in Perth and back to its best against Fremantle, with Elliot Yeo (MID, $14,700) dominating with 152 points. His season has been excellent.

Dom Sheed (FWD/MID, $10,500) was in for only his third game of the season and he managed 99 points and could be worth a look, while Sharrod Wellingham (DEF, $11,200) also picked up 95 points as one of 13 Eagles to reach a 90 or more in what can only be described as a Draftstars bloodbath.

Gold Coast v Geelong, Metricon Stadium, Saturday night

Ah, Gary Ablett (MID, $17,150). You've done it again. Ablett will hit his former side in top form after finding 162 points last week – 58 more than the next best Sun, Jarrod Harbrow (MID/DEF, $11,600).

Jarryd Lyons (FWD/MID, $12,150) continues to be a strong Draftstars option with his average loitering in the early 90s, while David Swallow (MID, $10,850) is back in the Suns' midfield and could be worth a shot. Injury hasn't been kind to Swallow, but he could be fresh after a week off. Off-setting his injury history is his price.

Look out for a fierce Geelong performance after its loss last week. Joel Selwood (MID, $15,550) doesn't get 60 two weeks in a row, so you can bank on a good showing there, and Mitch Duncan (MID, $15,600) has been brilliant so far this year with an average of 115.

Western Bulldogs v Richmond, Etihad Stadium, Saturday night

Caleb Daniel (FWD, $10,900) notched his best score of the season last week – a 103-point effort against Greater Western Sydney – but still be careful if you select him this week. It looks an outlier in scoring, given his three previous games were scores in the 60s.

Marcus Bontempelli (MID, $14,950) keeps on keeping on but costs plenty, while Jack Macrae (MID, $14,050) found 99 points last week in the loss to the Giants. Matthew Boyd (DEF, $12,650) didn't play last week but is a reasonably safe bet to come back into the side and score well, having averaged 80 in the opening five weeks of the season.

Richmond was completely outplayed by Adelaide last week, but Trent Cotchin (MID, $13,950) led from the front with 123 points, his highest score of what has been a consistent season.

The Tigers' midfield could suffer for the suspension of Toby Nankervis this week, but Kane Lambert (FWD/MID, $9050) was very good last week with 108 points and Daniel Rioli (FWD, $6800) lifted to find 72 points, well above his average of 53. Anthony Miles (MID, $11,050) is a ball-winner and back in the side, so could be a solid cheap selection.

Sydney Swans v Brisbane Lions, Sunday, SCG

It's been a grim start for the Swans this season, but in some good news, Isaac Heeney (FWD, $11,300) is hitting form. Illness has limited him to just two games, but he was his team's best last week with 120 points against the Blues. Youngster Tom Papley (FWD, $8350) has also lifted with his team down, picking up a well-above-average 104 points.

Older Swans Dan Hannebery (MID, $13,750), Josh Kennedy (MID, $13,700) and Luke Parker (MID, $13,300) were back to better form as well, with all scoring 95 or more against the Blues despite not yet having the big games we expect of them. The Lions could prove a good opposition to tune up against on Sunday.

Brisbane's midfield is pretty strong, however Tom Rockliff (MID, $16,700) will need to do more this week with Dayne Beams out of the side. Mitch Robinson (FWD/MID, $13,150) gathered 112 points last week and Lewy Taylor (FWD/MID, $11,200) found 105 points – a good jump on his 85-point average.

For a cheaper Lion, Ben Keays (MID, $8850) can find the ball regularly and picked up 80 points last round. He's in very few teams, but should be able to find you some good points as a last-picked midfield.

Fremantle v Essendon, Sunday, Domain Stadium
Fremantle is a difficult team to predict at the moment, but you can count on Lachie Neale (MID, $14,700) producing a good score most times he takes the field. Neale had 114 points last week against West Coast and has an average of 99 for the year.

More surprising perhaps was the efforts of younger Dockers Ed Langdon (FWD/MID, $10,100) and Harley Balic (FWD/MID, $8600). Langdon scored 109 points – his best effort of the year – and Balic had 91 points, the best of his short career. Balic is a popular choice given his price, so get on board.

Joe Daniher (FWD, $11,700) top-scored for the Dons last week with 110 points, but Draftstars coaches with him on board would have wished he kicked straight as a huge total looked on offer. Daniher is finding more of the ball this year, though, and his average of 87 is very good for a key forward.

Travis Colyer (FWD, $11,050) is starting to find his best form with an average of 86 since round one. Brendon Goddard (MID, $14,150) has also been exceptional so far this year with an average of 108 for the year and is worth considering as a premium pick.

Melbourne v Hawthorn, Sunday, MCG

Clayton Oliver (MID, $14,150) continues to be the buzz player of the competition, and with good reason. The rugged midfielder has notched an average of 111 points a game in the first six rounds, and is Melbourne's most prolific player in 2017. Get him in your side if you can.

He's in a lot of teams, but if you're after a point of difference, then Cameron Pedersen (FWD/RK, $12,650) could be in the mix. He has played just one game for the year, but will continue to hold down the ruck role for the Dees and scored 98 points last week. Consider him if you're up for a bold and brave choice.

Tom Mitchell (MID, $16,350) has been a lone hand for the Hawks. His 123-point average sees him ranked third overall for the competition, and also makes him one of the priciest players out there.

Ruckman Ben McEvoy (RK, $12,650) has averaged 111 points over the past three weeks so is one of few Hawks to be in reasonable form, while Blake Hardwick (FWD, $7850) scored 79 points last week and presents as a good value given his price.
