THE BYES are behind us and so are the Thursday night games. Normality is back for Fantasy coaches. No more loopholes. No more partial lockouts. Nine game from Friday to Sunday. Things are once again simple.
But do we actually think that will be the case?
While coaches are trying to 'complete' their team, a Sunday night trade plan is usually out the window soon after.
Whether it is a surprise omission, an injury or a failed late-week fitness test, there will always be an issue that Fantasy coaches will face mid-season.
Alex Witherden (DEF/MID, $225,000) is the most traded in player so far this week. A score of 77 on debut has seen thousands of coaches keen to slot the Lion into their teams for depth or to play as the last on-field defender for the next few weeks while increasing in value.
Witherden is not the only bargain coaches are opting to use their trades on for round 15.
The Fremantle trio of Josh Deluca (MID/FWD, $158,000), Sean Darcy (RUC, $199,000) and Brennan Cox (DEF/FWD, $182,000) are also popular downgrade targets amongst the community.
Those bringing them in will be hoping that they are bench players and can hold their spot in the Dockers’ side for the rest of the season.
Cash is key to completing your team. We may need to get a little creative with how we do this. It is important to note that we will see some carnage so don’t sell your bench short.
A late out on a Sunday afternoon and a subsequent 'donut' could be the difference between a win and loss as you head toward your League finals.
The Traders will be chatting all things Fantasy from 6pm AEST. Roy, Calvin and Warnie discuss the ins and outs ahead of round 15.
