GREATER Western Sydney midfielder Jessica Dal Pos has capped off a brilliant week by winning the club's inaugural NAB AFL Women's best and fairest award on Friday night.
Dal Pos, 23, was also named in the Virgin Australia AFL Women's All Australian team on Tuesday night.
She finished with 179 votes to narrowly edge out defender Renee Tomkins (177) and onballer Britt Tully (169).
The Gabrielle Trainor medallist played every game for the season, was second in the competition for tackles, third for clearances and averaged just shy of 14 disposals per match.
Giants coach Tim Schmidt said Dal Pos was a leader from day one.
"Jess has had a fantastic season – as soon as she hit the track in November, she has lead the way," Schmidt said.
"Her competitiveness and drive to be the best she can be has been a major part of her success.
"Getting out of the shadows of other top-line midfielders at club level has really given her the opportunity to show the competition what she is capable of."
Greater Western Sydney finished last on the AFLW ladder.
