ST KILDA has begun its initial list changes, with rookie defender Nick Coughlan and international scholarship holder Joe Baker-Thomas delisted.
Neither player made their senior debut.
Coughlan, 20, struggled with hamstring and foot injuries this season.
At 193cm, the No. 23 selection in the 2015 rookie draft showed promise with his intercept marking.
He managed just seven matches for Sandringham this season, plus one in the Development League.
"Nick displayed a high level of professionalism in his time at the Saints. We thank him for his contribution to the club and wish him well in his future endeavours," chief operating officer Ameet Bains told saints.com.au.
All of 2017's retirements and delistings
Baker-Thomas was recruited from New Zealand in 2013 and lined up in four matches for the Zebras this year, as well as six in the reserves.
He was St Kilda's first international recruit.
"For Joe to move here at such a young age was significant and he should be proud of how far his football has come," Bains said.
"We wish Joe well for the future."
The two delistings brings St Kilda's list changes to five after Leigh Montagna, Nick Riewoldt and Sean Dempster all retired.
