OUT-OF-CONTRACT Fremantle tall forward Matt Taberner is still weighing up his future amid interest from rival clubs.
Taberner put off contract talks with the Dockers until after last week's WAFL Grand Final, when he booted two goals in Peel's victory over Subiaco.
The 24-year-old former rookie only played eight AFL games this year, despite strong WAFL form and Fremantle's scoring struggles, and the Victorian is still considering whether to continue his career in the west.

"I caught up with (Fremantle list manager) Brad Lloyd last week and had some good conversation," Taberner's manager Anthony McConville told NAB AFL Trade Radio.
"Matt only arrived back in Melbourne late last week himself, so I had a good chat with Matt about everything.
"He is actually, as we speak, under the knife back in Perth. He had a slight meniscus tear, nothing major, but just a clean-up.
"The conversation as it stands is we're still having communication with the Fremantle Dockers - Brad knows where it's all at.
"There's has been some interest from outside of Fremantle but at this point in time we're still working through it all."
McConville refused to go into detail about rival offers for Taberner, who has played 53 games and booted 52 goals in five seasons at the Dockers.
Meanwhile, McConville expected former Freo captain David Mundy to see out the final year of his contract next season.
Mundy has triggered a clause for 2018 but there has been talk the 32-year-old could hang up the boots after 272 games.
The veteran midfielder played 21 games this year and started the campaign in impressive fashion, before his form tapered-off in the second half of the season.
"As far as I'm aware he is (playing next year)," McConville said.
"Again (he's) contracted and I haven't had any conversation with David outside of the fact that he'll be at Fremantle Dockers in 2018."
