VETERAN Fremantle defender Lee Spurr's season is in doubt after he was ruled out for up to a month by a calf complaint.
The Dockers have lost star Michael Walters for the final five matches due to a PCL tear, and Spurr is set to join him on the sidelines for at least three-to-four weeks.
"Lee had a slight calf injury early in the game (against Hawthorn) on the weekend," high performance manager Jason Weber told fremantlefc.com.au.
"He was able to push through but unfortunately, this week and the next couple of weeks, we’ll have him out."
Spurr, who turns 30 on Thursday, missed the round 16 win over North Melbourne with a calf complaint but has played every other game this season.
Young gun Ed Langdon will also spend two more weeks in rehabilitation due to a lingering knee complaint.
Langdon has twice made short-lived comebacks since he was first withdrawn from the senior team against Adelaide in round 10.
The 21-year-old's last appearance was for Peel on July 8.
"Ed’s knee is quite complex, it’s dragging on a little bit," Weber said.
"He’ll have a run test at the end of this week and we’ll see how he goes, and if he can progress further."
Injury-plagued star Harley Bennell had a quiet match with just five touches in his second game back for Peel on Saturday following multiple calf issues.
The 24-year-old didn't train with Fremantle's main group on Tuesday before the session was closed to media.
"Harley’s backed up alright from the weekend," Weber said.
"He had a small run today and we look forward to progressing his training through this week, and get him back on the field this weekend."
Tommy Sheridan could be available to face Greater Western Sydney this Saturday after missing the past two matches with a hamstring complaint.
But rookie Taylin Duman will miss a third round of WAFL football after hurting his back at training recently.
