FORMER Hawthorn and Carlton midfielder Daniel Harford and Collingwood defender Lynden Dunn have joined Collingwood’s AFL Women’s coaching panel.
Wayne Siekman will continue as head coach, with Harford as senior assistant and Dunn (who had a mentoring role this year), Chloe McMillan (development) and Matthew Jones (director of coaching with TAC Cup club Dandenong) rounding out the team.
Assistant coaches Nikki Harwood, Harmit Singh and Brendan Major were not retained.
The Magpies' AFLW operations manager Mathew James, a former AFL umpire, said Harford and Dunn would add invaluable experience.
"Their knowledge of how to communicate with and develop players will be an asset," James said.
