PORT Adelaide utility Jackson Trengove has been cleared of any wrongdoing from an incident outside an Adelaide bar in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Trengove will be free to take his place in the Power's side for Saturday's game against the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba.
The Power released a statement on Monday afternoon after it conducted an investigation.
"Port Adelaide confirms Jackson Trengove was involved in an incident at approx. 12.30am yesterday outside a bar at Glenelg where he was struck in the face," the statement read.
"Trengove did not retaliate and left the scene immediately.
"He was not seriously injured in the incident, but has bruising around his left eye.
"Based on all of the available information at hand, the club is satisfied Trengove did not break any team rules and will be available for selection this weekend."
