THE WESTERN Bulldogs could be bolstered by the return of key cogs Dale Morris, Jordan Roughead and Travis Cloke for Friday night's clash with Geelong at Simonds Stadium.
Morris hasn't played since breaking his leg in round one, while Cloke sustained broken ribs in the Good Friday clash against North Melbourne.
Roughead made a successful return from a serious hamstring injury in the VFL on Saturday.
The three just need to get through full training this week to make themselves available.
Bulldogs medical services manager Chris Bell told the club's website he expected all three to put their hands up for senior selection.
"(Dale's) completed full football sessions and if he returns to full training this week without any issues he'll be in line to return to play," Bell said.
"Travis has returned to full contact training and hasn't got any issues. We'll continue to put him under a barrage of tests this week but if he proves his 100 per cent, he'll return to availability.
"(Jordan) pulled really well following the (VFL) game and will no doubt be pushing for senior selection."
Skipper Robert Murphy, who was rested for the loss to West Coast, is almost certain to face the Cats after completing a training session on Saturday.
But on a sour note, injury-plagued utility Josh Prudden sustained a hamstring injury in Footscray's loss to Port Melbourne on Saturday and is expected to miss 4-5 weeks.
The rookie has endured a horror run in his five seasons at Whitten Oval, with a knee and shoulder reconstructions headlining a long list of injuries.
